While not all schools are as extreme, especially at private schools there can be a sense that parents are looking to "get what they pay for". As educators, we need to focus on giving students realistic grades and feedback and guiding their improvement, regardless of parental opinion. Parents need to learn to see teachers as partners, taking responsibility for their children, only then can education improve.
