A Secondary School in Kyoto is looking for a part time English teacher starting in the 2024 academic year (April). The work days haven't been finalised yet, but tentatively 3 or 4 days a week, with a fixed monthly salary. If this kind of work-life balance works for you, do apply with us right away. Contract period: April 1 2024 - March 31 2025
Monthly Salary: 160,000yen -200,000yen/month (before tax) + transportation
*Depending on academic background and relevant teaching experience
Working days: 3-4 days/week
Lessons: 15 lessons a week

Duties

-Lead team-teaching with Japanese teacher
-Teaching up to 15 lessons a week
-Lesson planning
-Material and curriculum development
-Attending meetings
-Making, proofreading, and grading exams

Candidates must:
-have a bachelor's degree or higher
-minimum 2 years of English teaching experience at secondary school
-capable of making and implementing effective and fun lessons
-currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa
