A junior and senior high school in Western Tokyo is seeking an English teacher to teach English Oral Communication classes. If you are interested in the following position, please send your resume.

Contract period: Apr 2022 - Mar 2023
Contract type: Self-employed (gyomuitaku)
Payment: 300,000 - 330,000yen/month (before tax) + transportation
*Depending on background and experience.
Location: West part of Tokyo (Keio Line)
Lesson: up to 20 lessons a week
Class: Oral Communication Classes

 

Duties

- Planning and teaching lessons
- Making and marking exams
- Curriculum and material development
- Judging at speech contests
- Teaching seasonal courses
- Teaching on school open days
- Essay corrections

 

Candidates must:

- Have a bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience at secondary school in Japan
- Capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
- Have passion and enthusiasm about education
- Must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa

- Masters in TESOL preferrable but not required
