A secondary school in Western Tokyo is looking for an English teacher to teach its conversation / oral communication classes starting in the 2nd term of the 2023 academic year (from September).

​

Contract period: Sep 2023 - Mar 2024 (renewable)
Contract type: part time
Payment: 230,000 - 250,000yen/month (before tax) + transportation
Location: Western Tokyo
Working Days: 4 days/week (morning to afternoons on Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thu mornings)
Classes: Oral Communication Classes, 14 lesson/week

 

Duties

-Lesson preparation
-Curriculum and material development
-Creating, marking, proofreading, and grading exams
-Essay correction and grading
-Attending meetings
-Supervising during exams

 

Candidates must:

-Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
-Have 2 years of teaching experience at secondary school
-Capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
-Have excellent classroom and time management skills
-Must currently reside in Japan and have a proper visa
