A client school in Machida City has recently reached out to us, seeking a full time JSHS English teacher for their ESL classes. This is not an ALT / team teaching position, so our teachers must be able to teach and manage classes alone, without the support of the Japanese teacher. Work Conditions:

Workplace: JSHS, about 8 mins by bus from Fuchinobe station (JR Yokohama Line)

Contract Type: Dispatch (employment contract with our company)
Contract period: April 1, 2026 -March 31, 2027

*Under the dispatch contract, you can work for this school for up to 3 years.
Working days: 5 days a week (days off Sunday + one weekday)
Working hours:  8:10-16:30

Compensation: ¥300,000-¥350,000/mth (before tax) + transportation reimbursement

*Depending on background and experience

Insurance: Social insurance and employment insurance
 

Work Duties:
* Solo teaching ESL classes (up to 20 lessons a week)
* Lesson preparation
* Curriculum and material development
* Essay correction and grading
* Proctoring exams
* Making, grading, and proofreading term and entrance exams
* Attending meetings, school events, and school ceremonies (including religious events)
* Teaching seasonal courses (summer and winter)
* Teaching and judging for speech contests

Candidates must:

-be living in Japan with a valid work visa

-have a bachelor's degree or higher
-have 2 years minimum of relevant teaching experience
-have a good understanding of Japanese culture and school work life

-conversational level Japanese is preferred
