Contract period: 1 Apr 2024 - 31 Mar 2025
Contract type: Direct Hire
Annual salary: from ¥3,200,000 to ¥7,000,000 (includes bonuses 2x/year) before tax
*Depending on school pay regulation
Working days: 5 days/week (with annual variable working hours)
Working hours: 8:15-17:00
Holiday: Holidays: Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and other days set by the school
Insurance: Health insurance, Pension, and Employment Insurance
Benefits: dependent allowance, commuting allowance, housing allowance (if renting), cold weather allowance (winter).
Duties:
-Teaching science lessons
-Lesson preparation
-Curriculum and material development
-Making, marking, and grading exams
-Attending meetings, school events, open schools and school ceremonies
-After school club
-Homeroom duties (special teaching permit provided)
Candidates must:
-have a bachelor's degree or higher related to science
-have relevant teaching experience
-be capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
-be a dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic teacher who is interested in secondary school education
