Our client school is looking to fill its staffing needs for the 2026 academic year. It is a Japanese private junior senior high school that has an international department, where you will be working alongside a large team of native and Japanese staff. Teachers will have the opportunity to teach at close to native level, as well as a second language level.

 

At this time, they are looking seeking teachers for:

-JHS, ELA

-SHS, ESL

-JSHS, Math and/or Science

<Job Description>

Contract type - dispatch (haken)

Contract period - April 2026 - March 2027 (renewable based on performance)

Salary - from 300,000/mth

Workdays - 5 days including Saturday (Sunday & 1 week day off)

Work hours - 08:20-17:05

Schedule - up to 20 classes/week

Grades/Subjects - JHS ELA, SHS ESL, JSHS math and/or science

Other duties outside of classes

・Curriculum and teaching material development
・Pre-class meetings
・Creating, proofreading, grading, and evaluating regular exams
・Serving as assistant homeroom teacher
・Participating in and guiding school events (including school information sessions)
・Other duties related to school education

<Qualification Requirements>
* Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
* Teaching license from home country preferred, but not required
* At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
* Must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa
