Seeking an enthusiastic and energetic primary school English teacher at NPO Tokyo Community School in Nakano. This position would be a wonderful experience for teachers who want to try out an alternative approach in teaching, and to gain invaluable teaching skills. Curricula, materials, guidelines, and regular support meetings are provided. Classes focus on all four skills of English acquisition.​

Contract period: Early September, 2025 - March, 2026
*The start date is negotiable.

Location: Nakano Station (JR Chuo/Sobu Line, Tozai Line)

Wage: 3,000yen/Class (before tax)
*Depending on teacher's background and experience

Work Schedule: 3 days/week
Monday:  9:00-12:00 (3 lessons)
Tuesday: 9:30-12:30 (3 lessons)
Friday:    10:30-13:45 (3 lessons)
*If working on the above 3 days is difficult for you, it would be negotiable.

 

Duties
-Preparing and teaching lessons (based on set curriculum and material)
-Testing, grading, assessing, report writing​​
 

Qualification Requirements
- Have a bachelor's or associate degree
- Have relevant teaching experience
- Enjoys spending time with children
