Contract period: Apr 2026 - Mar 2027
Contract type: Direct Hire
Annual salary: from ¥3,840,000 to ¥6,000,000 (before tax)
*Depending on school pay scale
Working days: 5 days/week (with annual variable working hours)
Working hours: 8:20-17:40 (Saturday 8:20-13:40)
Lessons: Up to 20 regular lessons a week
Subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies (Geography in particular)

Holiday: Holidays: Sundays, year-end and new year holidays, other days set by the school
Insurance: Health insurance, pension, and employment insurance
Duties:
-Teaching your area of specialty (Up to 20 lessons/week)
-Lesson preparation
-Curriculum and material development
-Creating, marking, grading, and proctoring of regular and entrance exams
-Attending meetings, school events, open schools and school ceremonies
-Preparation for overseas study program
-Accompanying school excursions
-After school club
-Homeroom duties
-Administrative duties
-Other necessary tasks related to school, classes and students
Candidates must:
-have a bachelor's degree or higher (preferably a major related to the subject in which you will be teaching)
-have min 3 years of relevant teaching experience at secondary school
-be capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
-be a dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic teacher who is interested in secondary school education
-be knowledgable about the subject(s) assigned to teach
-have experience with Cambridge and/or IB curricula is a plus
