*URGENT* ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER, ENGLISH & SUBJECT IMMERSION, OSAKA (2024 APR~)

Are you finally at that stage where you want to be fully immersed in the Japanese school setting, and no longer just that visiting ALT?

We have a client private elementary school who is looking for a full-time teacher to teach not only English, but also other subjects immersively.

If you are interested in being involved in teaching multiple subjects in a team-teaching capacity, taking on more responsibilty that just an ALT, and becoming part of the school commuity, this position might be just the one you are looking for.

Contract Type: Direct Hire
Contract Period: April 1st 2024 - March 31st 2025
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday work will be twice a month)
Hours: 8:15-17:30
Insurance: Health insurance, pension, and employment insurance
Annual Salary: From 4,000,000yen(before tax) + transportation
Lessons: English (Solo/Lead) Math, PE, Music, and Art (Team-teaching)
 

Duties:
-Teaching up to 20 lessons/week (English, Math, PE, Music and Art)
-Teaching STEP Eiken
-Lesson preparation
-Curriculum and material development
-Attending meeting, school events, and ceremonies
-Test making and grading
-Eating lunch with students
-Supervising during cleaning time
-Accompanying school excursions
-Home room duties
-Taking on necessary tasks related with school, classes, and students
 

Candidates must:
-have a bachelor's degree or higher
-have at least 2 years of teaching experience at elementary schools
-be able to teach multiple subjects
-be able to create engaging lessons at the elementary level
-currently reside in Japan and have a proper visa
