A JHS in Northern Tokyo is urgently looking for a maths teacher who can teach for the remaining academic year. If you're qualified, and interested in teaching math in not only an ESL setting but also to returnee students, get in touch with us immediately.
* Possible teaching training and orientation at the end of August.
* Contract renewal is possible depending on performance.

 

Contract Type: dispatch (haken), shakai-hoken covered
Monthly salary: 300,000yen - 350,000yen/month + transportation
*Depending on teacher's background and experience
Working days: Mon - Fri
Working hours: 8:00-18:00, up to 40 hours/week

- Work Duties -
* Preparing and teaching math and international course lessons, up to 20 lessons/week
* Material and curriculum development
* Making and marking exams
* Attending meetings, school events, teacher training, and school ceremonies
* Club activity
* Accompanying school excursions
* Homeroom duties

<Qualification Requirements>
* Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
* Major in math or science related subject
* Having a teacher's license (math or science) in your home country is preferable
* Capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
* Have excellent class management skills
* Must currently reside in Japan
